The Vortex FL-05 is built for the jobs a phone light cannot do — power cuts, night travel, farm and security work, trekking and roadside repairs. Zoom lets you switch between a wide flood for walking and a narrow beam for seeing something far off.
Good to know: beam distance matters more than lumens for outdoor use — a focused beam throws far further than a brighter flood. Rechargeable means no hunting for cells during an outage, which is exactly when shops are shut. Waterproofing is not optional in monsoon.

I have been using this torch for a few days, and it’s working really well. The light is super bright, the battery backup is good, and the build feels strong. Type-C charging is a nice option
