The TF-01 works handheld or standing on a desk, which is what makes it the more versatile of the two fans in the range. The ultra-silent motor is the point: this is the one you can run beside you while working or on a call.
Good to know: quiet and powerful pull against each other. If you want maximum airflow for a commute, the 13,000 RPM TF-04 moves considerably more air but you will hear it. For a desk, choose quiet. Running on speed one rather than three roughly triples the runtime.
