The Drive X 111 plugs into your car's existing wired CarPlay port and makes it wireless. Your phone connects automatically as you get in, so it can stay in your pocket or a bag for the whole journey.
Good to know: your car must already support wired CarPlay — this converts wired to wireless, it cannot add CarPlay to a car that has none. Expect a short connection delay of a few seconds after starting the engine; that is normal for every wireless adapter, not a fault. The 5GHz link is what keeps audio and maps responsive.
